DFY Hero 2.0 Review – Good But Don’t Rely On It

Updated: August 24, 2020
by CyberCash Worldwide

Lately, I have had a chance to use this tool and I am pleased to have been requested to contribute my DFY Hero 2.0 review for CyberCash Worldwide because this is one of very few product review sites that give fair and unbiased opinions. If you have Googled to see DFY Hero, you must have noticed that almost all the reviews are written by the affiliates. They all ‘highly recommend’ this tool saying you will be able to sell websites to clients to make a lot of money. I do not completely disagree but I think most of them are over exaggerating the outcomes and misleading. This is a good tool but I don’t think it’s suitable for everyone. So keep reading my DFY Hero review. I will tell you what’s inside.

DFYHero 2.0 Review - What is DFY Hero?

DFY Hero is a cloud-based app that works with WordPress that helps you build websites with over 100+ templates. You can create an unlimited number of websites under the sub-domain of dfyhero.com, or by using your own domain if you want to. The templates include almost any type of site, for instance, sales pages, squeeze pages, eCommerce store sites and blogs. It works with Elementor, a free WordPress plugin, and you can customize your site just by drag and drop, site layout, colors, menus, and the whole content without learning anything too complicated.

DFY Hero is sold via JVZoo and the price seems to fluctuate. It seems that the first version was sold with a one-off fee, so was the version 2.0 initially. But not it is sold with a monthly fee of $47, or $27 while a discount coupon ‘DFYSAVE20’ is available. We are not sure how long the coupon is valid.

Commercial License and Agency Startup Kit

The commercial license enables you to publish websites and sell them on platforms like Fiverr and Upwork. Agency Startup Kit has 8 modules to help you find clients and close the sales quickly. Especially professionally drafted legal contracts can help you learn how to keep your business running properly.

I know selling websites is extremely competitive and this kit does not guarantee that you will make any sales but at least you know how to go about and to make a decision this is something you'd like to give a try.

The DFYHero 2.0 Features

Here are some of the main features that DFY Hero 2.0 offers.

An Easy To Use Page Builder Dashboard

The dashboard is easy to navigate, and you get access to premium website templates within minutes. Most of the option items are either self-explanatory or there is a brief explanation underneath, so you will understand what you should be doing.

Fully Mobile Responsive Pages

All the DFY Hero sites are mobile responsive and ‘look stunning on all screen sizes’. However, I think everyone seems to over-dramatize this feature. It’s not 2015, it’s 2020. All the new site builders must offer mobile-responsive templates, this is normal.

Training Modules

In case you are stuck or don’t understand how to use any particular features, Training videos are available to watch and learn the most effective ways to use DFY Hero. Plus bonus training material "Eight Magic Methods", videos and PDF to turn the commercial license into profits.

Instant Real-Time Updates

It’s a drag & drop page builder linked to the Elementor plugin, means you edit your page directly and see any changes that you make on the screen. What you see is what you get.

Template Library including Sales Funnels

DFY Hero Templates

The templates are created by a team of dedicated designers for DFY Hero. All the sales funnels are following the proven formats and, I think they can help you start marketing your business easily if you haven’t owned your own landing pages. What I noticed however is, many of the templates use some very popular (instantly recognizable) royalty-free images that are available from sites like Pexels and Pixabay but already used by many bloggers and Pinterest users. It’s not a problem, but I would change the photos to the ones that are less recognizable to make a difference.

No Coding Skills Required

This is another thing that many sellers and affiliates often make a fuss about. It’s 2020, not 2002. No website builder on the market requires coding skills. No online marketer needs to program codes. Some tools that are made specifically for developers for sure, but they have a sales page full of jargon.

Instant Hosted Pages with Domain included

This is good if you don’t want to look for a web hosting service elsewhere and don’t want to purchase your own domain name. But the domain included in the DFY Hero is a subdomain, and considering the price you pay per month ($27 or $47), I don’t think it’s particularly reasonable as a web hosting plan.

The Creator

Cindy Donovan has over 10 years of experience in online marketing and she is a WordPress expert. She has sold a series of products such as Convert Commission, Ultimate Banner Plugin, Fearless Netpreneur, Traffic Ivy, Video Overplay, etc, all primarily targeted at new affiliate marketers.

I look up to her as a successful entrepreneur and for her ability to produce useful products, but she seems to suffer what many other sellers from JVZoo suffer. The market is so competitive that they cannot make one signature product that's going to be a bestseller for years to come. Many products from JVZoo change the price and end up being sold very cheaply before they go obsolete in a matter of a few months. By then, the sellers will come up with a brand new product to sell. That way, the sellers make more money and I think the price of DFY Hero goes up and down as part of the same sales tactics.

Starter Membership vs Deluxe Membership

DFYHero Price Plans

Right now, Starter Membership will cost you $29.97 per month, but Deluxe Membership can be purchased for $27 per month indefinitely with the discount code. There is no reason why you should pay more money to get the lite version with only 20 templates instead of 100+ and without some bonus features.

Don't Rely On DFYs

I don't normally trust any products that promote themselves as 'DFY'. When you are told that all the hard work is already done for you, sure, it sounds like it'll make your job less stressful. But you will still have to customize it to make the platform your own. You will have to insert your business information, logo, your affiliate link, etc, and connect the opt-in form to your own autoresponder.

Also in the long run, you will have to learn the logic behind is all so if something goes wrong with any part of your website in the future, you can rectify it yourself.

Cindy says, No learning curve. This is completely ‘Kid-Friendly’. But I wouldn't use a tool that requires no learning curve. Learning to create your own website is not a difficult thing to do, and every successful marketer has the basic skill at least just like they know how to use a smartphone app to organize their daily schedule. And every successful marketer goes through trials and errors themselves. Because it's the only way to improve their business.

But, I'm not denying DFY Hero 2.0. This is definitely a useful tool if you are a beginner and use it to promote your business and to learn what the format that gives positive results at the same time. When you eventually move away from DFY Hero, you can apply the technique and will be able to create your own website with Elementor all by yourself for free in the future.

30 Days Money Back Guarantee

If you purchase DFYHero 2.0 but you're not entirely happy, you can contact the support within 30 days of purchase and your fee will be refunded to you. It does not mention the money back from the 2nd month onward, but you can cancel the monthly subscription at any time also by contacting the support, then you will not be charged in the future.

  • 30 days money back guarantee.

DFY Hero 2.0 Review - ConClusion

DFYHero 2.0 is a good website editor that works on WordPress and the Elementor plugin with a web hosting fee included. If you are a beginner and looking to create a website that sells, it will give you a quick opportunity. But although it enables you to create as many sites, it's cheaper and more sustainable to use a reputable web hosting service with your own domain name, rather than to use DFY Hero's subdomain.
