If you’re seriously looking to learn affiliate marketing and prepared to pay a decent tuition fee, you want to make sure you learn it from someone real, and you want someone who’s actually successful to share their exact technique. Ross Minchev’s Commission Jumpstart may be one that you should look out for. Plenty of training materials are instantly available online nowadays. You want to make sure the skills will be taught by someone trustworthy, don’t you?
Online marketing methods evolve pretty quickly, so you also want to learn the method that’s currently proven to work. My Commission Jumpstart review will look into the content, how it works, and whether it’s worth paying the tuition fee. If you’re wondering if this program is legit or a scam, it’s definitely legitimate, and I’ll explain why. I hope this review will help you make a good decision.
Commission Jumpstart Review
What is The Commission Jumpstart?
The tagline of the sales page is “Make $300 - $700+ profits per day using proven and untapped method.” To be perfectly honest, I don't think the method is "untapped" because I've seen the same or similar techniques becoming increasingly popular in recent years. It's about;
- Drawing the Facebook users’ attention with enigmatic images on the ads, and
- Enticing them with quiz before sending them to your affiliate product sales page.
The course is very similar to Commission Hero but available at a lot more affordable price of $297. From my own experience, I believe this is one of the most profitable affiliate marketing methods in the short term. Although it requires continuous monitoring, and it’s not niche-specific (i.e. you focus on what sells, not what you want to promote.)
With Commission Jumpstart, you will start to learn the affiliate marketing basics, and by the end of the course you’ll know the in’s and out’s of Facebook ad campaigns, learn the users’ psychology, and master various tools (free and paid.) I can tell you that it is certainly possible to make that level of profits so long as you split-test your ads, landing pages, monitor the conversions against the spending. It works, but in my opinion, you're expected to be constantly at it and also be brave enough to bite the bullet as far as the ad spend is concerned.
The Creator - Ross Minchev
Ross Minchev started his YouTube channel years ago, but his oldest available video uploads were from 2020. He’s been constantly publishing various make-money-online and traffic hack tutorials since, and the number of his subscribers has grown to over 72k+.
In the past year, Ross has produced various paid training courses including Pin Ads Jumpstart, Social Ads Kickstart, $5K A Day Landing Page Design, Lead Gen Affiliate. Unfortunately, they’ve all been closed. So your first concern may be that Commission Jumpstart will probably not be around for long either.

ClickBank Products Pros & Cons
I think ClickBank is a decent affiliate marketplace that helps individual creators sell various digital products - software, ebooks, training courses, etc. It provides its own payment clearance system, so users can make purchases securely. And the good thing about promoting ClickBank products as an affiliate is high commission rates, typically 30-70% of the price, some up to 100%.
The downside is that many products are sold anonymously or under the pseudonym, and those products are typically inferior, misleading, or even pretty scammy sometimes.
But then again, ClickBank offers a strict money-back guarantee (within 60 days of purchase on most products), so it's favorable to the sellers, affiliates, and buyers. There are some other similar affiliate marketplaces but ClickBank is considered to be the most reliable one for that reason.
Some marketers are not keen on promoting any products sold via ClickBank, simply saying they're scammy, but that's not the case. The scammers (the sellers who regularly receive complaints) will be banned from ClickBank anyway. You do find good products that have been bestselling for years. I think Commission Jumpstart may be beneficial for you because it teaches how to find good, legit products to make the maximum profits.
Pricing - Is The Course Worth $297?
A few years ago, I paid $997 for a very similar course, worked hard on it, and spent quite a lot on traffic. I got good, constant results in the end, and thought it was money well worth investing. Since then, I’ve seen a few other very similar courses by different tutors and they’re all charging around $1,000, if not more. It is a lot to fork out, not affordable for everyone. Especially if you’re starting out and low on budget, plus extra money to spend on the ads to set aside. The barrier to entry is unreasonably high considering social network advertising is now a popular method.
$297 is very competitive, it's probably adequate from a student’s point of view. Compared to those other training programs, Commission Jumpstart is $700 cheaper, which you can use to pay for the ads.
Use Of ClickFunnels
Apart from the course fee of $297, you'll be required to join ClickFunnels, because the sales (quiz) page templates will be provided via the Commission Jumpstart course module. This will cost you $97 per month (after a 14-day free trial period.)
My personal opinion...this is a killer! ClickFunnels is an awesome website builder to create complex sales funnels, designed for intermediate/pro marketers. Over the years I have received numerous complaints from beginners who say they can't make full use of it for the price they pay. They're not complaining about ClickFunnels, they're often misguided by whoever the affiliate who referred it to them as if it's the only funnel builder.
For just creating some simple quiz opt-in landing pages, I do think ClickFunnels would be a waste of money, but with Commission Jumpstart there's no other choice.
I use Thrive Quiz Builder myself, it's easy to use, manageable, and that's what I would personally recommend if you're interested in the future. It's part of Thrive Suite which is 10 plugins with fully customizable WordPress theme, for as low as $19 per month.
How Much Will You Be Spending?
So to sum up, you'll be spending;
- The course fee of $297
- ClickFunnels $97 per month
- At least $500 on ads (see the refund policy below.)
You'll probably need to have $1,000+ or so in the first month. From the 2nd month onwards, you should be able to roll out your profit to spend more on ads to scale it up.
30-Day Refund Policy
Your purchase is covered by the Commission Jumpstart’s conditional 30-day money-back guarantee. After the enrollment, if you’re not happy with the program, you’ll only be eligible to claim a full refund if you;
- Also purchased ClickFunnels,
- Watched all the training videos and webinars, and
- Spent at least $500 in traffic.
Also Ross promises this - if you you’ve watched all the training videos, spent at least $1,000 in traffic, and you’re still not getting satisfactory results, you can contact him within 30 days of purchase. Ross will give you a $100 bonus via PayPal.
I guess the policy is to avoid time-wasters and I think it’s good. I’ve seen many beginners with a shiny object syndrome over the years - they think they’re willing to learn, pay a tuition fee, quickly decide it’s not for them for whatever the reason, and ask for a refund.
With the Commission Jumpstart’s refund policy, you’ll be required to prove that you’ve done everything you’re taught to do and you’re still not happy. I think the policy is fair enough.
I also think it’s fair to say that this shows how Ross is confident how this program can help you make money, and also if anything goes wrong (i.e. the method doesn’t turn out to be what you expected), at least you’ll have gained the knowledge and the particular skills.
After 30 Days
The refund guarantee period is strictly 30 days with no exception. But if you’re still not happy with the results you’re getting after 30 days, you can request Ross for additional support, then he’ll provide you;
- Additional product offers
- Additional landing pages
- Additional guides toward better earnings.
Commission Jumpstart Pros and Cons
Commission Jumpstart Review - Conclusion:
*** August 2021 Update: Looks like the Commission Jumpstart training materials are on offer for as low as $49. It seems to be sold by multiple sellers but anonymously. Whether the sale of the cheaper version is authorized or unauthorized by Ross Minchev himself, I don't know. But this suggests that the course may be already on the way out?
According to his website, a new Facebook advertising training course for advanced marketers is due to be released soon.
With all that said, Commission Jumpstart is created by a currently successful affiliate marketer, teaches how to use Facebook ads which is one of the most popular methods, how to promote bestselling ClickBank products with high commission rates. I think it's a good training course.
