If you wish to understand what your audience really wants, running online surveys is a great idea. But if you're looking to generate leads at the same time, here's my ResponseSuite review - I want to show you how this tool can help you with that.
So the purpose of running a survey is to find out about your audience - site visitors, potential clients or people in general, depending on where you cast your survey.
Free online survey tools are available out there, they can gather the information and let you know of the results. But that is normally it. The survey results can be used as part of your marketing strategy and that's great, but there's nothing more. Because free online survey tools are not designed to promote your business or brand on your behalf.

Overview
ResponseSuite is a drag & drop online survey builder tool that connects to your email marketing service at a deeper level. Each survey will require the respondents to enter their email address, so they'll automatically be added to your list upon submission of their answers, but to a different list based on their answers.
In bizopp niche for example, your survey question can be "What do you think you're missing out, in order to build a successful online business?" You will prepare 5 x option answers and also create 5 x separate lists in your autoresponder, e.g.
- "All-done-for-you website builder"
- "Good SEO tools"
- "Investment management"
- "Affiliate marketing training"
- "I don't know, anything. You tell me!"
Each respondent will be added to one of your 5 lists according to the option answer they've chosen. So you can email appropriate campaigns to them.
ResponseSuite will also direct them to a different page after the survey depending on their answers. Which I think is a million times better than directing them to a generic 'thank-you' page and disconnect them, or the wrong type of sales funnel ("Smart" Thank-You Page).
You can integrate ResponseSuite with any major email marketing services just like you do with a lead generation form.
It's cloud-based, so no installation is required. You can choose your custom domain, e.g. https://my-survey.responsesuite.com. And your survey can also be embedded on your own site.
Pricing
Before I go any further, let's just clarify the pricing options. Firstly the autoresponder integration feature is not available with the cheapest pricing plan. There are three plans available;
- "Researcher" - $29 per month or $290 per year (pay 12 months in advance and get 2 months free, which works out as $24 per month).
- "Marketer" - $69 per month or $690 per year (pay 12 months in advance and get 2 months free, which works out as $57.50 per month).
- "Entrepreneur" - which is a little pricier, but right now the same price as the "Marketer" option is offered as a special discount.
Feature | Researcher $29/mth or $290/year | Marketer $69/mth or $690/year | Entrepreneur

Go For The Cheapest Plan?
As the name suggests, the cheapest plan ($29 p/m) seems more focused on "researching". But the main thing is to keep your survey participants within your site.
Whether you use your custom ResponseSuite subdomain or embed the survey on your site, you can send them to your own "thank you" page at the end of the survey - where your opt-in (subscription) form should be placed. You can use a traditional technique there - offering a freebie in exchange for opting in. So the "Researcher" plan will still be useful.
How You Can Generate Leads with ResponseSuite
You know, a survey can generate more leads than a boring old squeeze (=lead generation) page.
Because a squeeze page is all about you - "My business is so awesome, look at me, join me!" - whereas a survey is about them. People will be happier to share their opinion or experience with you than simply being pushed to whatever your invitation.
The link to your survey can be sent out anywhere - social media, via a paid advertisement or by using a solo ad traffic service.
And I can tell you from my own solo ad experience that, a survey could get you 50%+ better response than an ordinary squeeze page. While I got 30-40% opt-ins with my "boring old" squeeze page, with a survey I could receive 65%+ opt-ins. Of course I must add, it depends on the niche and the quality of the squeeze page, and also depends how interesting the survey questions are.
You Won't Need A List Segmenting Tool
We all know how important to segment our list - to retain the existing subscribers, keep them interested, and also to save the autoresponder cost. So we usually split-test our campaigns, often use an extra tool to get our list segmented automatically based on the reaction to each campaign. With a ResponseSuite survey, you can effectively ask them which list they want to be opted-in.
If a monthly fee of $69 seems to you like a lot to pay, with ResponseSuite you won't need a separate list segmenting tool, so you'll be saving money there.
Use ResponseSuite On Existing Leads
ResponseSuite surveys are not just to drive new leads, but you can use it to keep your existing subscribers/customers interested.
They may have already answered your surveys in the past, so it's only fair if you make the purpose of your new survey clear. Such as offering a new range of useful products, freebies or invitation to a prize competition. Again upon submission of their answers, they can be automatically added to a sublist based on what they want. Or you can simply redirect them to different "thank you" page where the offer is displayed.
The Creator and Customer Support
The creator is Rob J. Temple. He's co-founder and COO of ResponseSuite. He's released other internet marketing products in the past such as Video Cash Formula, Continuity Academy, and List Profit Sniper. Rob is also well-known for entrepreneurship coaching, and he is a hypnotist (https://roberttemplehypnotist.com). The other co-founder is Kennedy, SEO of ResponseSuite, who often appears in the instruction videos - he's a mindreader (https://www.mindofkennedy.co.uk) Wow, how fabulous.
Anyway, plenty of support is available - Knowledgebase, support ticket system, and Facebook user group. And you may have noticed from the ResponseSuite homepage that you can book a demo. If you want to know more in detail, Rob will personally take you through via a video conference call. You can ask him any questions if you have any doubts before you give it a try.
Become An Affiliate For ResponseSuite
ResponseSuite offers an affiliate program and they can pay out via PayPal. You can join the program from the menu in your ResponseSuite dashboard.
I was thinking - if you choose to go for the "Marketer" or "Entrepreneur" option, you can remove the 'Powered by ResponseSuite' badge from your surveys. But it may be a good idea to leave that badge in but place your affiliate link to it. Some business users will be interested to know which survey builder you are using (I always am). It's just an idea.
Get Them To Respond!
Another good thing about paying a monthly fee to a survey building service is that, it will keep you survey-conscious. You know you can't keep asking boring 'feedback' questions - "Overall, how did you find the navigation of my site?" Extremely easy. Somewhat easy. Indifferent... Only nice and kind people will cooperate with you.
By trying to create interesting and helpful questions regularly, you'll get to learn how to entice your subscribers or potential customers to stay with you.

ResponseSuite - Sum Up
If YOU are not interested in casting surveys, think again. Because I think it's the best way to pull new leads in, keep them in and guide them to the right direction. So you can help them purchase what they think is the best products. Better customer satisfaction.
Hi, I am very new to internet marketing world. I have some questions, i hope you clarify them. These are the points you missed in the article.
1. How to track subscribers came from a survey
2. When you stop using ResponseSuite it becomes unusable, what will happen to the page.
Thanks
Hi Kunal, thanks for asking the questions. To answer;
1. You can track on your email marketing service account easily if you designate a specific form for ResponseSuite.
2. All the links to the survey page will be broken, and if you have embedded the code to your webpage, the survey won’t show up on your page.
I hope they’re clear, but if you need more assistance don’t hesitate to ask again. Thanks for your visit!
Hi Ray, generating leads while running a survey sounds like an awesome idea! It’s a little shame that you have to keep paying the monthly fee though. If it was a one off payment I’d definitely consider buying it. Maybe they can create a WordPress plugin version. The creators are mind readers? Maybe they can come up with other stuff like an entertainment related (like a mind reading game?) program that generates leads? I’ve never seen anything like that, so I would buy it if they made something like that kind of stuff. Cheers Ray!
Hi Zak, great ideas! They may have something like that or tried in the past already. I do agree on your plugin suggestion though. Thanks for your comment!
I want to use this but is there a free trial. I want to make sure it will connect to my email. Does it connect to get response?
Hi Sal, no unfortunately ResponseSuite doesn’t offer a free trial period. You can book a live demo session at any time though. Yes it does connect to GetResponse no problem. Any more questions don’t hesitate to get back to me. Thanks for your comment.
Hi Ray, great review. I totally agree with you about the surveys. Most of them are about themselves. They just want to appeal how good they are. I don’t think I can afford to pay monthly fees but I’m sure a lot of corporate websites will appreciate great tools like this one. Good luck to them. Thanks for the awesome review, good job. Ben
Hi Ben, thanks for your comment! Yes I definitely recommend this tool for whoever wishes to run surveys regularly.
Hi, I’ve never thought about using a survey to make connections with my followers. Good suggestion, thanks. Will keep that in mind.
Thanks Andy! If you need any help don’t hesitate to let me know!
Hello, thank you for your review. I am in need of the survey because I am working for my company and will need to take a website survey about the future of some products. But I will need to take 3 or 4 times. Is it possible for me to take a few questions? I have no problem with budget because my company’s boss is taking care of it. Please respond, thank you.
Hi Michael, you can use ResponseSuite just for a few times, but remember it will cost you a monthly fee so you can cancel it after all the surveys are finished. Take advantage of the 2 weeks free trial and see if it’s suitable. Thanks for your comment.
Hi Ray! Wow, you have a great site. There’s a lot I can learn from you. I particularly noticed your Response Suite review and it looks very good. I belive that surveys help to draw a lot of customer attention. I have never had experience in that area. I will definitely have to take a look at that closely in the near future. Thanks for your helpful advice!
Thanks for your comment! If you need any help don’t hesitate to give me a shout at any time.
Hi Ray, I found your review very interesting and useful. I have never been interested in surveys. Like you say, many surveys are only feedbacks. I can only answer when I feel like it.
It seems like a good idea and if I was to choose one, I would like an option with email marketing integration. BUT it’s too expensive for me. I cannot afford to pay so much which is a shame.
Right now I want to learn a lot more about website marketing first. If I start making more commissions I would like to try this one. I will keep reminding myself.
Thank you for your post.
Hi Hitesh, thanks for your comment. Yes it’s a little pricey for some, perhaps not for new starters just yet, but this tool will definitely come in handy in the future for you. Any questions don’t hesitate to get back to me at any time 🙂
