Viral Tycoon Review
You may have seen enough traffic exchange sites already, but I think Viral Tycoon is pretty decent; simple, straightforward, not hyped-up like some other 'million dollar' networking sites. And it's free. Viral Tycoon started in November 2017, and it's not widely known as yet at the time of writing this (June 2018). At least I can see more good than bad, so I'd like to share this with you today.
The site is very 'busy' with a lot of information all over the place. But there's just one thing you can do as a free member - advertise multiple web pages to other Viral Tycoon members and casual visitors.
Once you've signed up free, go to "My Account" at the top menu, then "Getting Started" menu at the left side. At any time you feel lost, just go back to "My Account" > "Getting Started".
Advertise in Viral Tycoon
In "My Account" menu, you'll see (1) Manage Viral Page and (2) Income Links. They're basically the same thing.
You're supposed to list your own web page in the "Manage Viral Page" section. Whereas "Income Links" section should be used to list a third party's product page with your affiliate link. But any types of page can be listed in either of the two sections - Viral Tycoon does not forbid you from mixing them up.
The main difference of the two is, what's listed in "Manage Viral Page" will be advertised in the main column (including "Site of the Day"), and what's listed in "Income Links" will appear in either of the side bars.
You can advertise up to 32 pages (!) in "Manage Viral Page" and also advertise multiple affiliate pages (number's not known...many, I guess). In order to advertise, you just need to prepare;
- An non-animated image (JPG, GIF or PNG), minimum size 450x300px (300x200px for an "Income Link"), maximum size 1Mb.
- Header copy
- Advertisement summary
- Target link URL.
Although there's a maximum number of characters you can use in the header and advertisement text respectively, you can write anything you want, and you can use any image so long as it's copyright free. So this is your chance to 'clickbait' a little - write something to draw attention and use an image to impress. But don't be spammy, the headline, summary and the image have to be relevant to the page.
As I mentioned earlier, Viral Tycoon hasn't quite taken off as yet, and doesn't seem to have many members (the exact number's unknown), this means good and bad;
- It's not like you're advertising your sites to thousands of people but...
- ...On the other hand, your sites will be more exposed more. "Site of the Day" randomly selects one of the members' sites in turn and display it in the Viral Tycoon front page, so your site's turn comes around pretty frequently.
For $45 per year (or $10 per month if paid monthly), you'll receive a few more benefits;
- You can place up to 10 banners throughout the Viral Tycoon site for unlimited period of time. A banner can be an animated GIF, either the size of 728x90px or 250x250px.
- You'll receive higher rate of referral commission (see below).
- You can have a big brand image in your own "Viral Page" - useful when you're referring to others, in order to let them know what your brand really is.
Although the premium membership is at low cost, some of the pages haven't been updated for a while, means the future of Viral Tycoon is a little uncertain. So I wouldn't recommend you to go premium just yet. Take advantage of your free membership right now and see what happens in the near future.
...Having said that, if any of your downline (referral) becomes a premium member, the referral commission is awarded 10% to a free member and 25% to a premium member. So if you refer Viral Tycoon to somebody, and that person pays $45 per year to become Premium; you will receive 10% ($4.50) while you're a free member, or 25% ($11.25) if you are a premium member yourself.
If you are a premium member, you'll also receive 12% of all payments on each of the next 5 levels of your downline.
Your commission can be paid into your Paypal or Payza account.
You can view other recommended traffic and advertisement service providers from the top menu, such as LeadsLeap, Rebrandable Traffic, Alexa Master, TrafficG, EasyHits4U, etc. The lists need tidying up; traffic services are listed under "Advertise" menu, and some services that are listed under "Traffic Providers" menu don't provide traffic (such as Wealthy Affiliate).
