Profit Shortcut Review [Truth About Network Marketing]

Updated: June 9, 2019

Oh my god, I couldn't bear to watch any longer! It's the Profit Shortcut introduction video. If you've managed to watch this long video until the end and wonder if this is something you should invest money on... You're in the right place now reading my Profit Shortcut review. I wouldn't call it a scam, but if you were being mesmerized by any part of the video, it's time to wake up. You really need to sort your life out.

The Profit Shortcut Review

How long's this video, about 30 minutes? (It's one of those created on Vimeo and the viewers cannot rewind or fast forward) If you watched it from the beginning to the end, what did you make out of it? Have you noticed that it only tells you mainly two things?

  1. It will make you very, very rich.
  2. It's a 'done-for-you' system, you just have to copy the exact formula for a few minutes per day. But you have to work hard on it (huh???)

The video sales page is particularly made for the audience who have nothing better to do than passively listening to someone repeating the same thing over and over again. So you questioned the integrity of it, decided to check the reviews and landed on this page, well-done to you for that.

Overview

As you may have noticed from the video mentioning Misha Wilson, the Profit Shortcut is just a sales funnel page of the Super Affiliate Network (SAN). Upon joining the Profit Shortcut, you'll be directed to the SAN membership page. But if you directly visit the SAN (thesuperaffiliatenetwork.com) you'll be offered a $1 trial.

So here's the conclusion: If you really want to try it out yourself, don't waste $47 on the Profit Shortcut when it will only cost you $1 on the Super Affiliate Network (initially!)

The Super Affiliate Network Review 2019

Just as the name suggests,

  • It is an affiliate marketing training.
  • Structured by the idea based on network marketing /MLM.
  • Designed specifically for people who prefer to digest information by talking to others.
  • Training mostly via video and chat.

Is It Really A Shortcut?

Well, initially I thought, hell no. The sales video already wasted 30 minutes of my time. The spokesperson for Ace spares half the time telling you about getting rich and not having to be employed. Vacations. Sports cars. Shopping without having to check the price tags. Firing your boss. Not having to worry about the bills to pay. More vacations. Not having to worry about...

The other half of the video is about "copying the exact system". Follow the steps. She didn't create the system, she copied Misha's. But Misha didn't create it either, he copied his mentor's. And it's all done for you... She says, "In a few minutes, you will discover how it works" but she never reveals what it actually is or how it works (except that it's about copying and it's "all-done-for-you").

I explained this in my SAN review, but once you get in, you'll be hearing a lecture by Misha about the motivation for an hour.

I'd like to get right down to the business. If I was new to something and decided to take lessons, I'd like to get straight into Day 1, you know what I mean? Not being dragged around at Day Zero for such a long time. I left the Super Affiliate Network very quickly, because it took too long to get me started. It was too slow. To me, this is far from a shortcut. It's totally the opposite.

But you know what, some people do need help from others 100% to get themselves motivated them. Some cannot take the first step on anything they do without being persuaded by others. Maybe the Profit Shortcut is suitable for people who have a passive attitude towards work.

Does The Profit Shortcut Work?

People who are forever dreaming of get-rich-quick schemes keep buying an inferior quality training ebook + YouTube video bundle and give up within a day because they can't be bothered to even get through Chapter 1. What these people need is just a little bit of kick-ass motivational shoutouts by a real person via a live session. Not another "how to drive traffic" ebook.

In that sense, if you think you are one of those people, it may work for you. I'm not being sarcastic! But if you are like me, you want to start learning the actual technique in affiliate marketing and you don't want hours of chit-chatting, it's not for you.

You May Lose A LOT Of Money

Will the Profit Shortcut help you make money? No, not at all. The income statistics show it (theprofitshortcut.com/income) and at least we can appreciate the hidden honesty there.

Income Statistics

The Profit Shortcut Compensation Plan (Percentages are miscalculated)

Note that the above statistics are the result of Profit Shortcut's own referral program. The members spend between somewhere between $3,000 - $12,000 per year, which is extraordinary, but over 97% of the members make only $8 per month (!)

Some of them may be promoting different niches using the skills that they've learned from this program and make a good income to cover the cost, but I doubt it. I really do.

It means that out of over 40,000 members, only 2 members are "shopping without having to check the price tags". Isn't the sales video crudely misleading?

The Truth About Network Marketing

Revolutionary New Method

The Profit Shortcut is a typical network marketing program. Misha says in one of his Super Affiliate Network video that he's tried network marketing and it didn't work on him. But he is a typical network marketer. (Don't ever try to trust every word they say - network marketers talk before they think!)

The keyword is "leadership". It clearly says in the compensation plan statistics page "Success in this business requires leadership, hard work and dedication..."

Listen. Success in niche affiliate marketing business does NOT require leadership. Network marketing does. Always remember that!

It means you are required to have leadership quality in order to succeed with the Profit Shortcut. However, this program invites people using a 30-minute long video that talks about an extremely submissive method - "all done for you, you just need to copy." It's clear that the Profit Shortcut is specifically hunting for people with no leadership quality.

Is it being fair on users? I don't think it is!

Beware Of Refund Policy

I'm sorry, this is getting worse and I may sound so negative, but this is what it is. The refund policy is confusing and misleading.

  • You are fully protected by a 100% no questions asked 30 day refund on select products.
  • But you are NOT fully protected by a 100% no questions asked 30 day refund, because there will be no refunds for setup fees, partial months of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds, etc.
  • "You can ASK FOR complete refund. You will get your money back." (Means you may not receive a full refund.)

Just like many other MLM's do, the Profit Shortcut also claims to offer $100 if it doesn't work out for you "just for wasting your time". But this is conditional. You need to prove that you've completed all the forms, homework, assignments, etc (what is included in "etc"?) You need to attend at least 3 calls with your coach, and prepare a documentation that shows the cost of traffic, traffic vendor's info, leads info and ROI.

Is this an easy, just a few minutes a day "all-done-for-you" system? NO!

The Profit Shortcut Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Some users may be motivated.

Cons

  • You will not make money - extremely infeasible.
  • You will likely to spend thousands of dollars, i.e. risk of getting yourself in serious debt.
  • Refund policy is complex and unclear.

The Profit Shortcut Review - Conclusion:

The Profit Shortcut is just a gateway to an affiliate/network marketing training course, The Super Affiliate Network. It may be useful if you are;

  • Desperately in need of someone to contact you and motivate you via telephone and learn how an online business works. But it's a very expensive training course, and you're extremely unlikely to make enough money to cover the costs. Or,
  • Already a successful network marketing leader, then perhaps use this system to earn extra commission?

Unfortunately I am not a network marketer, therefore personally don't recommend this product.

Don't Spend So Much Money!

When they start telling you about a dream lifestyle and come up with photos such as exotic beach resorts and sports cars, the message is pretty one-dimensional. They say "this system will make you rich" and you say "wow, this system can make me rich."

There's no magic in the "system". It's simply the amount that they charge you.

Okay, I tell you what I mean. How did these people get these luxury items in the first place? Simply by charging others an extortionate amount of money for the service they provide.

I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I'm telling you how it works, okay? You pay tens of thousands of dollars for their coaching service so that they can enjoy the most luxurious lifestyle. But they'll teach you how they do it, so you can do the same (=copy!) You will learn to charge others tens of thousands of dollars so that you can have all the luxury too.

So their service fees - are they actually worth tens of thousands of dollars? Not to you. Not when you're not earning as much. They may be totally worth the value to richer people, you see. You're not in the right denomination just yet. So you should NOT be paying that kind of money when you're looking to make your first $100 online.

  1. Don’t be fooled by fake training like this one. They will only take your money and you will not make a penny. They call you and tell you that you need to pay more otherwise you wont succeed. They get some people into debt.

  2. Thank you. For excellent review. Keep going because we can make use of your publications.
Congratulations, also. Thank you for good reviews.

  3. Hi Ray, this is a good review and it’s a wakeup call for everyone.
Absolutely no doubt would I take up an offer like this.
I believe in working online but not by networking this way.
    Thank you for your post.
    Christine

  4. Hi Ray, I understand this is just a sales funnel, but I don’t like the mentality of selling a product in a different name when in fact this person is just an affiliate.
I guess they don’t care because they are not targeting anybody who google search, they are only targeting people on email lists.
I know it is not a shortcut to success, like you say you will likely to lose so much money.
Thanks for your review. This is very useful.

  5. This is a scam because my friend paid for it and he was given totally different training from what he expected. Someone else was involved in training and he was not helpful at all. Rather he asked a lot of personal questions. My friend was not impressed then he got his money back.

    1. Hi Pé, thanks for your comment. Yes once you join, you’ll be allocated to a mentor who pops out of nowhere. That’s one of the reasons that I don’t recommend this system. You don’t have to speak to anyone – on the telephone! – to make your affiliate marketing business a success. I specifically dislike it. Good to hear that your friend got his money back.

  6. If this is sold for 47 dollars but the real super aff nwk is 1 dollar who is making a profit. It sounds so unfair but I was not interested anyway it doesn’t sound right. I look at the other page as well but its full of scam words. People don’t have to believe this kind.

    1. Hi Jamal, thanks for your comment. Looks like $47 is the standard price and $1 is a downsell option. The Profit Shortcut is just a funnel created by an affiliate as I understand.

  7. Hi Ray. I understand this is just a sales funnel for Super Affiliate Network. How can it be possible, for misleading people to join one scheme and then it is actually another product? If someone who is already a Super Affiliate Network member joins, he will be paying a duplicate membership fee. I know there will be a refund but it will waste so much time for them. I am not impressed by this system. Thank you, Ray, for your useful review.

    1. Hi Hitesh, thanks for your comment. Actually the SAN is mentioned in the video, so the existing members or anyone who knows the SAN system will recognize it as they watch the video. Whichever way, no one should be lured into a video-only invitation!

  8. Hi, I think it had a different name or page before because I have seen a very similar one advertised in the same way claiming that you make so much money. But it was just Super affiliate network. If it’s Super affiliate network then No thanks because for a long time it had a bad reputation.

It is shocking to know that 97 per. Of people only make so little money. There is no way anybody should waste time like this way.

    1. Hi Sierra, that ‘97%’ means the majority of members don’t refer the Profit Shortcut, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re not making money at all though. But yes, by all means you want to hear the right tips and advice from a good internet marketing course, and have a good web hosting environment if you want to succeed. Thanks for your comment!

  9. Hi Ray, I wondered if Profit Shortcut was a network marketing. I’m glad to know if it is. I’m also aware about Super Affiliate Network. I don’t like the way people push you to join because only loud ones win. It is as if you have to pester people until they give up otherwise you don’t make money. Some of my friends were in network marketing, I had to cut them out of my life because they were so obsessive I got to the point I could not have a decent conversation with them. It’s very sad to lose friends this way. Even if I love the way whatever the way Profit Shortcut promotes affiliate marketing I cannot force my friends to join. This is definitely not for me. Thank you for your post.

    1. Hi Tito, thanks for sharing your experience with your friends. Yes it does happen indeed, with MLM marketers sadly. It’s always been the case as far as I can remember. Whether you join a scheme or not is up to your decision and only some of the network marketers help you decide without being intrusive. You don’t have to be involved, and still make a success. Thanks for your comment!

  10. yeah but you know if you keep denying every product then you never succeed. stop complaining and take action. that’s it.

  11. Hey Ray, I’m glad you said affiliate marketing doesn’t need leadership skills. I don’t think so either. Just MLMs. Even so, many people in MLMs are being loud, childish, sell-y, inconsiderate and annoying. I don’t look up to any of them. A lot of them misunderstand what it is to be a leader, I would say. Good blog, Ray, thanks for your awesome review.
    Zak

    1. Hi Zak, thanks for your comment. I do agree with you, leadership is not about calling people randomly and persuade them to buy stuff. And if the product says it requires leadership to succeed, it should focus on the training accordingly. I appreciate your input, all the best to you!

  12. It’s an outright scam I tell you. I know this woman in the pic is Misha Wilson’s right hand woman. The 2 people who make 15k a month are Misha and her. They not making much themselves and desperate in search of more prays.

  13. I could not watch the video either because it was too long.
It did not explain well but something about the surfer guy who eats coconuts also make money. did not make sense.
I knew it cost so much money ther was no way I would pay.
