If you're looking for a low-cost email marketing training program, check my Profit Fundamentals review. It covers all the basics that will help you kick start email campaigns. It also contains quite a few affiliate marketing training videos that can be useful.
I've always said, "don't get distracted by shiny objects" - don't keep randomly spending money on those "make money online" products that promise you to make a lot of income online. There are literally hundreds of them, all affiliate marketing training video compilations, all similar to one another. If you've bought one of them, there you have it. No need to buy the next one.
The following Profit Fundamentals review will show you what's inside, and you'll see what I mean by "similar affiliate marketing courses" - If you get this package you won't need to get another one because I think this is good value.

What Is Profit Fundamentals?
The main part of the Profit Fundamentals is an email marketing training course; how to generate leads, how to write credible content that can get clicked, and how you can effectively monetize your campaign. You'll be provided with materials such as;
- Model email templates - not to copy and reuse but to give you an idea of what kind of email swipes can sell.
- Survey bridge page template - Use of a survey is a great way to generate leads. Although the template can only be used if you sign up with ClickFunnels.
Profit Fundamentals comes with plenty of other training videos that cover Instagram marketing, YouTube marketing and affiliate marketing in general. Plus "urgency software" (countdown timer script) that you can use as a scarcity marketing.
The Creator - Jeff Aman
Jeff himself has been affiliate marketing since 2008 and has also been teaching his proven methods including traffic and conversion strategies. Jeff's websites in the past include dotcomsoldier.com and 9to5rescueplan.com. Profit Fundamentals is his current training platform and all his video materials are new (2020).
What I Like About Profit Fundamentals
#1 Value For Money
Without a doubt, the price. I've seen many "low cost" online marketing programs for newbies over the years, i.e. offering the same kind of volume for a one-time fee of $17-$47. They often throw in outdated, stinking quality YouTube videos and useless e-commerce general guide ebooks that are PLR products.
Jeff's program is all current and the bonus products are either new or released within the past 2 years. For $5, I think it's good value.
#2 Teaching Style
I like Jeff's teaching style - he's friendly, down-to-earth, and not at all over-hyped. He doesn't promise unrealistic income. He doesn't try to hypnotize students by flashing "Warrior Plus income proof" every few minutes like many other tutors do! The video instructions are easy to follow, easy to understand, in my opinion.
What I'm Not So Keen About Profit Fundamentals
#1 "Too Many" Bonus Training Videos
The bonus products are great - each one has been a premium training product in the past 2 years and you can get them all for free. They're by different tutors - I haven't watched them all but they teach the campaign techniques based on the same principles (well, more or less). So you may find some of them duplicates.
Having said that, for a beginner to learn the same things over & over again is not a bad thing!
#2 Promotes MLM
Well, nothing's wrong with multi-level marketing in general. But in one of the training videos, Prosperity Marketing System is recommended which I'm not personally keen on. PMS is a "downline building tool" - the primary purpose is to make money for the sake of it by recruiting others, i.e. pyramid scheme. PMS is recommended because "it's only $12 to join", and it's easy to invite others "because it's only $12", never mind what the core products it sells.
The Main Feature
The training is all in video format (YouTube embedded). We don't get to see supplementary textbooks nowadays, and Profit Fundamentals is no exception (not for this price anyway!) Jeff takes you through on-screen and any URLs that you should visit are referenced underneath each video, so it's comprehensive.
- Introduction video (2 mins)
- Email follow-up training (33 mins)
- The Invisible Subject Line (4 mins)
- Setting up an autoresponder sequence in GetResponse (15 mins)
- How to set up a list-building funnel FAST (23 mins)
- Bonus case study ("5 Emails To $1,558") (16 mins)
Email Follow-up Training
The training starts with the importance of email marketing - how so many beginners underestimate the power of it and miss out on huge income opportunities, which I indeed agree. The materials he provides are;
- 100 broadcast email copies that you can model - you cannot simply reuse them but you'll learn the techniques.
- "33 emails proven to make money from my personal collection" by Kam Jennings (ebook)
- Subject line examples that you can adapt to your products
- Free headline generator, emojis that you can copy & paste, create email subject lines with unique fonts.
- Free urgency software (countdown timer script)
Jeff recommends you to start taking action as soon as you can because it takes a long time to master copywriting, which I also agree. I wish I had received a simple training like this one when I first started email marketing because in retrospect, some of the email swipes I wrote particularly in the first 3 months were abysmal.
Survey Bridge Page Technique
The other technique is to ask users survey-type questions before you send them to your sales page or lead generation page, which is very effective. Jeff provides you a template, but it's only usable if you have an account with ClickFunnels, which is expensive ($97 per month) and I don't think it's worth signing up just for that.
Jeff also recommends GrooveFunnels which is a "lite version" and it's free. I've tried it myself and I think it's really good too. It doesn't have the survey opt-in facility though.
I use Thrive Quiz Builder to create survey questions, which is a WordPress plugin. Personally I would recommend Thrive Themes' annual membership because it works out a lot cheaper compared to ClickFunnels and I think it offers versatility. ClickFunnels is great but far too expensive for newbies, in my opinion.
Free Urgency Software
You need to sign up with this tool separately but it's free, and it provides a simple urgency bar script and countdown timer script in the way you like (set the timer in the way you like, in various colors). All you do is copy and paste the script code onto your sales page. It's a simple and quick way to add scarcity.
But if you use GrooveFunnels (which is also free), it comes with a countdown timer anyway. So this is just a plus in case you use your own simple landing page builder that doesn't have the feature.
Mass Traffic Bonus Courses
Currently, there are 5 x training materials here, and Jeff says he's going to add some more in the future.
- Traffic training webinar replay by Dean Holland - How to infiltrate the biggest traffic source online for free and legally siphon the visitors from their website to yours.
- Profit Swift Mass YouTube Traffic Course (90 mins in total) - by Jeff himself, from his other website, dotcomsoldier.com.
- Instagram Lead Pump Course (40+ mins in total) - also by Jeff himself from dotcomsoldier.com. Some useful resources such as graphic sites, shoutout generator sites, etc. for free.
- 10 - 20 Leads Per Day Using Safelists (27 mins) - another training from dotcomsoldier.com. The information is slightly outdated, as Jeff recommends you a tool called "Unlock Your List" which is no longer available. But I think the idea is useful.
- Bing Ads Mastery Traffic Training by Riley Hunter (28 mins) - it also has a link to sign up to receive a free report "The 7 Deadly Sins of Internet Marketing" *** Caution: The book is written by Misha Wilson. You'll be signing up not with Riley or Jeff, but with Misha's Super Affiliate Network invitation automatically.
"Fast Action Bonuses"
This is where you can get access to various affiliate marketing training programs for free.
- Zero Hour Work Days
- From Zero to $100 in 24 Hours
- Lindgren's Lazy Traffic Method
- The Lost Code
- The Secret Weapon
- El Bandito
- The Clones (Copy These 6 Figure Campaigns)
- The Incognito Method
- The Flash Method
The majority of them were sold for $30-$50 two years+ ago, so it's good you get free access to these programs. But the flip side of it is, they're all valued free after 2 years of being released - "disposable products from Warrior Plus". Brendan Mace is involved in many of these programs and they're more or less the same.
Philip Borrowman from TakingAction.Online says that although he respects Brendan as an internet marketer, he wouldn't use most of Brendan's methods "due to the impersonal and invasive sales techniques". I absolutely agree with Philip word by word.
At least you can check out these training programs, so you won't be tempted to buy any "make money online" products from Warrior Plus...at least for a few years!
Training On "Top Affiliate Marketing Offers"
Here, three affiliate schemes are recommended;
- Prosperity Marketing System (MLM)
- 5 Dollar Friday (MLM)
- Hashing Ad Space (Cryptocurrency minting system)
As I mentioned earlier, I don't personally endorse any of them because the top two are based on a "rob Peter to pay Paul" basis and the last one involves a minor cryptocurrency, the value of which will always be volatile. They don't promote a way to make money by building a trust relationship with the audience over time, as far as I'm concerned. But that's my personal opinion. Some people do make money using these methods, so check what Jeff's got to say, and you can make your own decision.
60-Day Money Back Guarantee
It's only $5, but Profit Fundamentals is sold via ClickBank and your payment's covered by its 60-day money back guarantee. If you're not happy, you can always access the support from your email receipt and claim for a full refund.
Profit Fundamentals Pros and Cons

Profit Fundamentals Review - Conclusion:
Do I recommend Profit Fundamentals? Yes I do because it's good value.
Many expensive affiliate marketing courses claim to offer uniquenesses but they're all based on the same principles, you don't have to pay a lot of money to receive training. Whereas many low-cost training programs contain inferior materials, and I've seen a lot of scams.
Jeff Aman's tutorials are current, he's honest and they're easy for a brand new marketer to follow. I'm not personally keen on some of the recommended programs which are pyramid scheme-like, but at least you'll get a lot of good ideas from this course.
How I "Finally" Make Over $6,000 Monthly Income
"The most valuable thing I've ever done!"
I bought Profit Fundamentals the other day but I was disappointed to see so many upsells. I’m sure this guy’s training helps, I’ll be on it when I’m ready, but I got the impression that he’s only trying to sell his affiliate products like Getresponse, click funnels and other training platforms. I can see his affiliate ID with each link. In the end he’s the one who makes more money, we end up spending a lot before we can do anything. Your right about his down to earth approach but I’m disappointed slightly.
Hi Rhiyad, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Yes, Jeff does recommend various online tools that he thinks the best, and he will make money if you purchase any of these products via his link. Every tutor does it, that’s perfectly normal as far as I’m concerned. Especially Jeff’s program is such a low cost, I can’t see any problems with that.
With all that said, I’ve always said that I’m not a fan of ClickFunnels (great tool but too expensive, not for a beginner). Like you, I do feel “disappointed” every time I see someone recommend ClickFunnels.
Thanks for your comment, I hope you’ll make good use of Profit Fundamentals. I wish you all the best!
