The Compoundly Method Review – Profit In 24 Hours?

Updated: August 26, 2019
by Ray Alexander

The Compoundly Method is a renewed version of an internet marketing training guide, formerly known as just 'Compoundly'. I decided to get this one after I saw a couple of negative reviews purely based on what's being said on the sales page. Yes, it's a little misleading, but my opinion on the actual product is positive. Check my Compoundly Method review - I'll show you what's inside, pros and cons, I'll also explain who can benefit from this course, and whether it's worth the money.

What Is The Compoundly Method?

The Compoundly Method is an online marketing training course in video format. It was co-created by two online entrepreneurs, Paul Nicholls and Anthony Mancuso. Paul is the video tutor, and the main part is split into 8 modules. You will learn;

  • How to get it started, the basic applications that you need.
  • The importance of blogging - why it's not as effective without it.
  • Trust and credibility issues.
  • Crucial elements that you need to have in your blog AND YouTube video.
  • Which traffic methods are effective - with case study.
  • What you can do to promote affiliate products for FREE.

It's not an in-depth step-by-step. For this price, no it's not. You could say, "so this is just a general guide, then." But what's different from other general guides is that the advice given is much more practical, because Paul explains it all from his own experience. Conversion rate comparisons and traffic methods comparisons are actually useful.

You will also receive plenty of bonus guides (video and ebooks) also created by Paul, on solo ads, top affiliate products, email marketing and other tutorials including how you can level up your mindset.

The Compoundly Method Review

Who Is The Compoundly Method For?

I would say it's primarily for new affiliate marketers who know the very basic jargons (e.g. web hosting, autoresponder, solo ads). If you have a rough idea of different marketing methods, but you don't know how differently they work or you want to learn how you can link each method to create a campaign flow, then it's perfect for you.

Even if you are brand new and have no idea or whatsoever, you can catch up with any of the videos and try copying the method in your own good time.

One of the bonus products is "Email Marketing Assassin", a set of 14 video tutorials that cover everything about email marketing from the very basic to the advanced level. If you are brand new and feel "you're not there yet", list-building and email marketing will become an absolute essential in due course, so this is useful for you to keep even if you have no knowledge of it.

Why Do I Like This Course?

How can I put it - the training course is "cheaply made". Looks like he recorded it using minimal equipment from home. No fancy graphic software or sound effect. But Paul Nicholls has been successful for many years as an affiliate, as well as selling his own products. And this training itself is low cost.

Diagrams

Paul draws diagrams using his mouse - in the beginning I thought, what the hell, lol... But does a handwritten diagram make the tutorial any less clear? Not at all. He's showing a perfect example of proven online marketing technique here - all you need to get it started is what Paul's got.

The audio and visual quality is decent, just to be clear.

The Modules

Here's a summary of each of the 8 main training modules;

  • Module 1: The Money Machine (32 mins) - overview. You need to have a blog website, connect your site to social media accounts. Build an email list. What it means to be trustworthy and to have credibility.
  • Module 2 - Assembling Your Tool Belt (13 mins) - The necessary tools that you need, and which ones Paul recommends (web hosting, autoresponder, sales page builder, video tool)
  • Module 3 - Preparing For Success (21 mins) - About showing your clear identity in your blog to gain trust.
  • Module 4 - The Profit Triangle (31 mins) - Where to direct your visitors to get the best click rates, with a practical case study.
  • Module 5 - The Winning Formula (34 mins) - Essential elements to put in a winning review article and also in YouTube video.
  • Module 6 - Offer Selection Done Right (20 mins) - How to choose good products from Warrior Plus, JVZoo and MunchEye, and the reasons why it's so important.
  • Module 7 - Secret Traffic Vault (47 mins) - Paul compares 10 traffic methods. He rates each one out of 5 marks and explains why they work/don't work. He demonstrates some examples.
  • Module 8 - Free Method (11 mins) - How to use blogger.com and also to create a "bonus" page.
  • Module 9 - Profit, Rinse & Repeat (19 mins) - The roundup.

Bonus Materials

What I think is spectacularly valuable is that all the bonus materials are produced by Paul himself. Previously sold at price but free to download as part of The Compoundly Method - a few years old but the information is relevant to this date.

There are many of them, and most of them are in video format, so if you try to uncover everything at the same time, you can be overwhelmed and confused. The list below should be able to help you;

Bonus #1 - "Quick Profit Methods"

It jumps to Paul's previous product "Avalanche List Building". Scroll down and you can watch 3 x video tutorials (70 minutes in total) about ClickBank products, creating a sales funnel step-by-step, and how to analyze. These videos are a few years old but VERY useful.

Bonus #2 - "Profit Funnels"

There are 3 sections here; the first two are "Solo Ad Funnels" and "Solo Ad Funnels ‘Upgrades’", both in a zip file and free to download. They contain a series of video tutorials, all recorded in 2013 but they're still relevant and useful. What kind of sales funnels to build when you specifically drive solo ad traffic. The advice is in-depth and full of tips. The diagrams ("mind maps") will also help.

Mind Maps

In one of the files, there's a list of recommended solo ad sellers, which is also useful if you don't know any. Although the indicated price range is outdated (doubled since).

The third section "Sales Funnel Commando" has 8 x extra video tutorials, emphasizing how you can create good funnels to get the most clicks. Also an invitation to Paul's business strategy session - answer the survey and see if this is something you're interested in.

Bonus #3 - "Email Marketing"

There are two sections; one is a downloadable 13-page ebook "17 Email Cash Hacks", written by Paul himself.

The other one is "Email Marketing Assassin" - 14 x video tutorials on email marketing. This is extremely useful if you are brand new to email marketing, explaining "followup" (autoresponder) vs "broadcast" (newsletter), what to put in the subject line to get your email open, what kind of width your email should be, how you keep your readers engaged, how to segment your list.

Bonus #4 - "Paul Nicholls Coaching Series"

Whopping 30 video tutorials by Paul for you to download for free. The tutorials cover all about online business - selling your own digital products as well as affiliate products. The topics include;

  • Mindset and how to succeed
  • Tools to use
  • Niche to choose
  • Upsells and downsells
  • Squeeze pages, sales pages, funnel pages
  • Free offers
  • Blog creation
  • About payment buttons
  • Membership sites
  • Backend offers
  • Traffic
  • Email marketing
  • Branding and engagement
  • How to build trust relationships.

Can You Make Money With The Compoundly Method?

Compoundly Sales Page

The sales page says you can make your system up, running and in profit in 24 hours or less - I don't think the claim is realistic. Yes, it is possible if you already have the necessary resources (website with links to good affiliate products). Paul's tips to give a few little tweaks and make a profit within a day. I've achieved that, by sharing on Facebook and pointing visitors to different funnels.

The headline "The Hidden 3-Figure Per Day" method can sound a little overstating, but I do make 3-figure per day using this method, so they're not lying. You WILL make money using this method.

In fact, they're not lying anything in the sales page, but if you're brand new to an online business, this is a set of video training. It will take time for you to digest the information, search the tools as advised and build your website - all cannot be done within 24 hours.

30-Day Money Back Guarantee

If you're not happy with the product, you can contact Paul Nicholls via Warrior Plus or by replying to the email receipt to ask for a refund within 30 days of purchase.

The Compoundly Method Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Full of practical tips, given out of Paul Nicholls' own business experience.
  • Low cost.
  • You WILL make money using this method.
  • ALL the bonus products are created by Paul himself, and useful.
  • Generous volume of bonus content.
  • 30-day money back guarantee.

Cons

  • "Profit in the next 24 hours" can be misleading.
  • The actual members area might look a little underwhelming.
  • Bonus  materials are laid out randomly - a little confusing.

The Compoundly Method Review: Conclusion

For just over $10, this online marketing training covers everything you need to know to set up your website and run your campaigns to actually make money. This is (almost exactly) the method that I use, and I make over $5,000 per month from it, so I definitely recommend it.

If you have any specific questions on any of the modules, don't hesitate to ask by leaving a comment below. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Good luck!

  1. It’s interesting but there is so much to learn for me. I have a husband who needs to be looked after during the day as well as a 16 year old dog this is too much. I thought the price was good but this all explanation what is all that about. I really don’t understand it.

    1. Hi kerry, it all depends on how you want to make money online. If you have a question in a specific area, don’t hesitate to ask me at any time, I will try my best to answer as much as I can. Sounds like you have a very busy life but try learning something new every day and you’ll get there. Contact me and I can take you through. Thanks for your comment.

  2. Hey Ray, great review. The training course sounds great, I just watched the video, Paul Nicholls sounds like a top guy 🙂 But I’m not sure about the profit in 24 hours. Obviously it takes a day at least to watch all the videos, then it takes a lot of work to set things up.

If you are totally new then you need to learn to set up your web hosting, join affiliate networks and stuff like that. I would say it will take a week at least, what do you think. The hand written diagrams, yeah amusing but nothing’s wrong as long as the students understand it.

Thanks for the review, all the best. Dex

    1. Hi Dex, thanks for your comment. I agree with you, it takes you time to use this product itself – go through the training – so if you buy it now and you’re very unlikely to make a profit by this time tomorrow. You should never believe in quick bucks at any circumstances anyway. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Dex.

  3. I bought Compoundly after someone said he would give me some extra bonuses but he didn’t give me anything. To me the videos are too difficult to understand. There is no support and it’s all too confusing to be honest.

    1. Hi, thanks for your comment. Sorry to hear that you find the Compoundly Method difficult to digest. If you can let me know which part(s) specifically, perhaps I can help you. You can send an email to Paul and he can get back to you, too.

  4. Well, I got this training after I read some reviews including this one. I think it’s easy to understand. I am happy so far. The only thing is I have started to receive sales emails from him. I signed up to buy this training but never signed up to receive emails regularly. I’m a little dismayed about that.

    1. Hi Barbara, thanks for your comment. I’m glad to hear that you are happy with the Compoundly Method. The emails from Paul that you’re receiving – that’s the whole point of making more sales by email marketing. You’ll get to learn it as you go along the training. If you don’t want to receive emails from him you can simply unsubscribe. I hope it makes sense.

  5. Hi Ray, I find this review very interesting. I agree with you about the integrity of “cheaply made” training video platforms. Normally it indicates that the design quality goes in line with the content quality but you got the point. If the tutor speaks from his own successful experience then it shouldn’t matter. Especially he’s not an online tutorial tech expert but internet marketing expert.
I like the fact that the price is affordable for anyone. I would like to have good knowledge in solo ad traffic so this can be very useful for me. Thanks for your review.

    1. Hi Benjamin, thanks for your comment. Yes the price is handy. You get what you pay for but all the information is there. If you get this product and have any questions don’t hesitate to ask, I’ll try my best to answer especially in solo ads!

  6. Hi Ray, great review. I’ve never heard of Paul Nicholls before but it sounds like a great product. I’m not sure if I like receiving a video only training course. I would prefer to read PDF and reference what I learn then make a note. Also because I’ve had many unsuccessful experiences with solo ads I’m not sure about using solo ads again. Maybe the bonus extra course can take me to the right direction. I also like the low price.
Thanks for your review. It’s insightful.

    1. Hi Seb, thanks for your comment. I must admit I prefer text format too, as every time there’s a video clip to watch I need to get myself ready. As for solo ads, sorry to hear that you’ve had bad experiences. You need to have a squeeze page and you also need to know good solo venders… Paul’s training videos will definitely help you with that. But if you have any specific questions don’t hesitate to contact me.

  7. I have seen this one advertised before and I know this man is a successful marketer. I first learned about how to send traffic to a sales page using his affiliate marketing video a few years ago. I have not tried this one but I’m sure is very god.

    1. Hi Kevin, great to hear that you’ve made use of Paul’s training course. As I explained in the post, this one also has full of tips by the experienced marketer. Thanks for your comment.

  8. I bought compoundly last year but there was not much it was badly made. I’m sure I didn’t pay as much then I didn’t learn anything or make any money.

    1. Hi Michael, thanks for sharing your experience with Compoundly. The program’s rehashed and some new elements have been added, so it’s better as far as I’m concerned. Any questions don’t hesitate to ask. I wish you all the best!

  9. Hi, thanks for the compelling review. I was wondering what was this all about. Basically I don’t trust any product reviews on products sold on Warrior+ and JV because the affiliates make up all the good stuff that’s being said and give 5 star ratings on all of them.
From your review it looks like the guy is legit and maybe it’s worth the money. Still I’m not sure of money back guarantee. Because if they don’t respond you don’t get refund.
But your review seems trustworthy, it’s good for me to learn. Thanks. A.J.

    1. Hi AJ, I agree with you. A lot of money-back guarantees on Warrior Plus and JV Zoo are dubious because they don’t take the responsibility. And also the affiliates jump on the brand new products before the launch and release their ‘reviews’. Hard to make your own judgment…!
