Have you ever thought about what it would be like to fake your own death to start a new life? It’s a concept that has been explored in movies, television shows, and books for years. Anything can be turned into a business, so this can become an actual business opportunity for entrepreneurs.

Simulating your own death - is it feasible? A lucrative business? As a cyborg, I don’t really know what it’s like, but what I can do is look into the process of simulating one’s death and how it can turn it into a lucrative business. I’ve no idea if this tactic can work for you. So if you’re curious about what it takes to pull off such a daring endeavor, don’t take me seriously.

Simulate Your Own Death And Turn It Into A Lucrative Business

A Crazy Idea

Faking your own death - convincing people that you are no longer alive. This can be done through a variety of means, ranging from simply disappearing and never being heard from again to more elaborate schemes involving fake funerals and staged accidents. Whatever method you choose, the goal is to make it impossible (or at least very difficult) for anyone to prove that you are still alive.

Of course, it's a serious decision with potentially life-changing consequences. Not only do you have to be absolutely convinced that this is the right move for you, but you also need to be prepared for the possibility that things could go wrong.

That being said, if you are certain that faking your own death is the best option for you, then there are a few things you need to do in order to make it happen.

You would have to create a new identity. This involves getting a new birth certificate, driver’s license, passport, and Social Security number. How you could do those - don’t ask me. I’m not getting involved with any illegal activity.

Vanish

You would have to open up new bank accounts and establish credit in your new name. These could be achievable by changing your name through a deed poll, so this process seems feasible. But then, you’d have to get a witness to sign your deed poll certificate. So at least one person other than yourself will know your new name.

Once all of that is taken care of, you need to start “living” as your new persona. You could move to a foreign country, live incognito and make money as a digital nomad. This means cutting off all contact with your old life – telling your family and friends that you are moving away or you’ll die, quitting your job, selling your possessions, etc.

Figure out how to make your death seem believable. Depending on the method you choose, this could involve

  • writing a fake obituary
  • planting it in the local newspaper
  • staging an accident scene, or
  • creating false evidence of your demise.

Whatever the case may be, you will need to make sure that anyone who is looking for you will not be able to find any trace of your existence.

When your “death” has been successfully faked, you can begin your new life as someone else. Obviously, this is far from an easy decision and there are a lot of risks involved – but if you are certain that faking your own death is the best option for you then it can be done.

The History Of Simulated Death

The History Of Simulated Death

Simulated death has been around for centuries, with its origins dating back to the Middle Ages. The first recorded instance of simulated death was in 1,348 when four Italian men donned black robes and lay down in a graveyard, pretending to be dead. This prank was eventually discovered and the men were fined.

In the late 1,800s, simulated death began to be used as a tool for entertainment. In 1,873, French magician Jean Eugène Robert-Houdin performed a public simulation of his own death. This stunt proved so popular that he repeated it several times over the next few years.

In more recent history, simulated death has been used as a training tool by militaries and law enforcement agencies around the world. It has also been adopted by the medical community as a way to teach CPR and other life-saving techniques.

Simulated death is now gaining popularity as a way to train people on how to deal with grief and loss. There are even businesses popping up that offer simulated funerals, complete with eulogies and flowers.

If You Have The Ones You Love

First of all, don’t even think about life insurance - insurance fraud is a serious crime. You want your loved ones to be taken care of financially, but if you have “loved ones” you wouldn’t fake your own death anyway.

But if you do have loved ones, you could create a will and trust to protect your assets and ensure that they go to the people you want them to. You would also want to make sure that all of your financial affairs are in order so that there's no confusion after you're gone.

If You Don’t Get Anyone Involved…

If you want to be happy just by pretending to be dead, good for you. If you think about it;

  • You can gain a greater understanding of what it is like to die. This can be an invaluable experience, particularly if you are facing a terminal illness.
  • Simulating your own death can also help you to come to terms with your own mortality. It can be a very cathartic experience and can help you to put your life into perspective. After all, death is inevitable and by simulating it you can learn how to accept this fact and live your life to the fullest.
  • It can also help you to create a more meaningful life. Often times when we near the end of our lives, we realize that we have not truly lived. You may be able to learn how to make the most out of every moment and create a life that is rich and fulfilling.

Don't Do It

Simulating death is an unethical practice, as it can cause distress and trauma to those affected by it. It also has the potential to desensitize people to real-life death, making them less empathetic towards others in similar situations.

This stupid experience can create a false sense of security that may prevent you from taking any necessary precautions when faced with dangerous or life-threatening situations.

Needless to mention, it would maliciously manipulate someone emotionally or psychologically and should therefore never be taken lightly.

Simulating death is an unethical practice

Simulating death in order to avoid paying debts or other legal obligations will ultimately cost the public money. It requires police resources and time to search for the individual who has faked their own death.

You’ll be found guilty and can be charged with criminal charges such as fraud and deception which could also result in fines being imposed upon you.

Ultimately, attempting to escape financial obligation through this kind of activity only serves to increase costs for everyone involved - both financially and emotionally.

How To Turn Death Into A Business

1. Offer services that help people simulate their own death.

This can include things like make-up and special effects, staging a mock funeral, and even writing a eulogy.

2. Help people plan their own funerals.

This can include everything from choosing the right casket to picking out the perfect flowers.

You need an experience of a funeral director. Get an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in mortuary science or another related field such as business management or psychology. Then you can gain practical experience through internships or work with existing funeral directors.

After gaining the necessary experience, you must take and pass the required state board exams to become licensed by your state’s board of embalming and funeral directing.

If you want to specialize in areas like grief counseling, cremation services, preplanning funerals etc., you may need additional training beyond what is required for licensing purposes.

Stay updated on new laws and regulations that affect funerals so that you are able to provide high-quality service for those who have lost loved ones.

So if you can do it or not - up to you.

3. Create products that help people cope with the loss of a loved one.

This can include books, films, or even games that deal with grief. Books and films can be a great source of comfort to those going through the grieving process. Books such as;

  • On Grief and Grieving: Finding the Meaning of Grief Through the Five Stages of Loss (Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, David Kessler)
  • Grieving with Hope: Finding Comfort as You Journey through Loss (Samuel J. IV Hodges, Samuel J. IV Hodges)
  • Comfort for the Grieving Spouse's Heart: Hope and Healing After Losing Your Partner (Gary Roe)

will provide insight into understanding loss and help readers work through their grief.

Films such as ;

  • “Terms of Endearment” or
  • “My Life”

are also powerful emotional tools that help viewers confront issues surrounding death in an emotionally healthy manner.

All in all, books and films are great resources to navigate the complex emotions associated with bereavement and find peace within oneself once more.

4. Use your own experience of simulated death to create a business teaching others how to do the same thing.

This can be done through workshops, online courses, or even one-on-one coaching.

5. Provide Zombie Apocalypse services

Capitalize on the current popularity of zombies by offering services that help people simulate their own zombie apocalypse.

This can include things like make-up and special effects, training in self-defense, and even providing safe places to stay during the outbreak.

6. Sell death-related products as an affiliate

Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money online, anyway. You can create a website and promote products such as funeral services, burial plots, caskets, memorials, or even items for grieving families like sympathy cards and flowers.

As an affiliate, you will earn commissions when people purchase the products through your website. This type of business offers flexibility in terms of hours worked and product selection so that you can choose what works best for you.

Because the demand is evergreen due to the inevitability of death this could be a steady source of income if marketed correctly.
